[Huron County, Ontario]– Huron County, Bruce County and Bruce Power have all stepped up to purchase a Clean Flow Health Care Mini. The machines will be used to sanitize personal protective equipment used by front-line health care workers in our fight against COVID-19.
The Clean Flow Health Care Mini was developed by Clean Works, based in Beamsville, Ontario, using technology verified by the University of Guelph and approved by Health Canada on April 13, 2020.
In a joint comment, Bruce County Warden Mitch Twolan and Huron County Warden Jim Ginn, say: “The health and safety of our staff is always our number one priority. This investment has been made to maintain a steady supply of clean personal protective equipment to protect our front-line health care workers. To those on the front-lines: thank you for your daily commitment to deliver service to our communities.”
The Clean Flow Health Care Mini machines are expected to be in place and operational in each of the 3 locations in 2 to 3 weeks. Huron County will announce the location and details of their machine in the near future.
Huron County continues to urge all residents to practice physical distancing and proper hygiene protocols outlined by the Provincial Medical Officer of Health. Stay informed on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in Huron County by visiting the Huron-Perth Public Health website.
